Lifting the Fog and Making a Difference: Whitleigh
Friday 28th October 12pm – 4pm
Lifting the Fog will be part of Make a Difference Day at the Salvation Army, Lancaster Gardens Whitleigh.
- Take over the radio airwaves on Freesound FM, tell the world about your neighbourhood and make a sound portrait of
- your community.
- Produce your own apple juice with the Grow Efford, travelling apple press.
- Create your own work of art in workshops for all ages including the cosmic sand pit, record cover collage and space themed sculpture.
- See fi lms by local artists.
Make a difference, Get together and get involved:
- Community Litter Pick at 12pm with the Neighbourhood Regeneration Team and local young people.
- Traditional games, Lantern making,Green Man making,
- Family walk to Woodland Woods at 3.30pm for some spooky storytelling.
- Get involved in a proposal for a new play area in Lancaster Gardens.
- Wear it Pink Tea Party 12pm-2pm.
